Welcome to UltimateF1.com!
Ultimate F1 is the brainchild of seasoned armchair-pitmonkeys Jamie Hammond and Natalie Vandersluis. After a chance meeting at
the Nurburgring, we found we had the mutual feeling that when it came to F1, the information superhighway could use resurfacing. Websites for the other things in life that get us through the day – music, film, drinking, humour, sex, other sports – gave us something we weren’t getting when it came to the laying down of virtual rubber (except maybe the sex ones).
We decided that it was time for a Formula1 website and community that provided as much fun, interactivity and editorial as it did news, stats and team press releases.
So we sat down, furiously massaged our temples until more ideas fell out like wheel nuts tightened with an It’s A Gift socket set (thanks Nan), and dreamt up the Ultimate Website for a Formula1 fan. We are now proud to present the first release of our website: UltimateF1.com (see what we did there?)!
UltimateF1.com currently comprises of beautifully presented regular News Updates and Statistical Information on teams, drivers and race tracks. Our next releases will see our social network elements go live where you will be able to create your own profiles, add friends and even submit your own news, views and experiences.
We have also sweated Castrol developing and fine tuning our Fantasy Formula1 game which you will soon be able to register for. Test your knowledge, needle your less prescient friends and win some incredible prizes – all for FREE!
